2. Use a soft toothbrush and tear free baby shampoo or Aveeno oatmeal baby shampoo.
3. Put the hedgehog in the water, making sure it is able to stand.
4. Apply a small amount of shampoo to the toothbrush.
5. Use the toothbrush to wash the spines of the hedgehog.
6. Gently scoop water over the hedgehog's back to rinse the shampoo, making sure to not get water in the hedgehog's eyes, nose or ears.
7. Wrap the hedgehog in a dry towel for a few minutes. Make sure it stays warm while it dries off.
