This weeks lighting assignment was a 3 light-sports-set up to capture movement.

Since Kyle plays basketball a few times a week, I asked him to come be our model :)

We had a good time and I am pretty impressed with how high my man can jump!

100 Miles

I drove 100 miles this afternoon trying to find places to take pictures with the 4x5!  

I drove around Spanish Fork Canyon and then Provo Canyon and these are a few pictures I took, hopefully my prints from the film look similar to these digital versions I took also :)

The old car I found totally reminds me of something you would see at either my dads house or my grandpa's!

Lookin' Up

Life is going so much better this week!

I am happy to announce that I have officially been accepted and am in the BFA Photography program at UVU!  Such a relief!

I am so happy that the application process is over, but know that I still have a lot of hard work and learning ahead of me until graduation!

 This is one of my favorite images and the one in my portfolio that my professors were "gushing" over, so I was told.  That sure makes me feel good!
I love the light, the composition and the emotion it captures of being a child.
