AmberLynn: Utah; I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as a photography student at Utah Valley University. Since I am still a student, I do not charge money to take photographs. Until I graduate all my work will be to benefit my experience, so if you are interested in letting me practice just let me know!
Artist Statement:
People around us make life worth living. I am inspired by the relationships that I have with the people in my life, the way I want to remember those relationships and the moments that define them. Feelings captured in a person’s face are memories that otherwise may pass by only to be forgotten. I am convinced that I learn something from each person that I encounter. They teach me something that leaves me a little different than before. My photographs are about remembering people how they are in a certain moment, before they continue into experiences that keep them becoming something new. I look at my photographs and remember people the way I see them and the way I don’t want to forget them.
