Joshua: Senior Pictures

This week I took some senior pictures for Joshua.  He was a good sport while I took a million pictures.  We took most of them at our Grandparent's farm.  I still have a long way to go in the art of lighting, posing and editing so I am thankful for the practice! 

Paintings: 2D Design

I know these aren't photographs, but they are my artwork and I was proud of them.  I had to take this class for my program, but I wouldn't say I am good at drawing or painting so it was a struggle that I overcame somehow!

Sydney and Jon: Maternity

Recently I got to take maternity pictures of our best friends, Jon and Sydney.  This has been one of my favorite shoots so far.  I loved so many of the pictures and learned a lot about posing from this experience.

Dances

This year I have had a few opportunities to take the pictures for high school dances (thanks to my siblings in high school).  I took group pictures for Sweethearts and twice for Preference.  It was my first time taking pictures of groups that big, but again has been good practice for me.  I am so happy I have these opportunities to learn and improve!

Darkroom

 These were some of my favorite film pictures that I developed and printed in my darkroom class.  We played with may different processes like mordencage, texture, dyes and other chemicals.  We never knew exactly what we would get, but not knowing was part of the journey.

 

               

Stephanie

This was another Photography I assignment exploring motion and aperture.  Stephanie was more that happy to model for this little shoot and it was great to capture her having so much fun.
